Customedia had a fantastic culture and a unique market position. However, being located in Maniy, New South Wales an area remote for media professionals-made attracting talent a challenge.

The solution

Fulcrum initiated collaboration with Customedia to redefine their employer brand. This included revamping job descriptions and advertisements, along with producing video content that showcased the unique culture and location of their office in Manly. A dedicated Talent Manager concentrated on candidates within the Northern Beaches, conducting extensive postcode searches for media professionals in the area and bolstering Customedia’s brand presence for short and medium-term roles.

Furthermore, Fulcrum assisted Customedia in establishing a social media presence and producing content to amplify their brand. This partnership resulted in substantial cost savings in comparison to traditional recruitment agencies and facilitated the creation of a successful internship programme targeting local graduates.

In a relatively short period, and within a challenging hiring market, Fulcrum achieved remarkable results through its partnership with Customedia. The collaboration significantly raised brand awareness, attracting top talent who had previously been unaware of Customedia, despite residing nearby.
